Transfer Station
Our solid waste transfer station is located at 811 Old Highway 24 in Waterford (Across form the Esso Station) providing convenient, fast and safe disposal of non-hazardous solid waste, including household, construction and yard debris, roofing, lumber, clean fill, scrap metal and electronics (E-waste)
Acceptable Waste
- Any Non-Hazardous Solid Waste
- Household Waste- furniture, mattresses/box springs, appliances * construction waste, roofing, wood, drywall etc.
- Yard Waste - leaves, branches, grass clippings, garden waste
- Clean Fill - concrete, asphalt, brick, block, gravel, dirt or sod.
- *any item containing CFC's (Freon) must have a sticker indicating that a licensed technician has removed the CFC's or a $ 25.00 per unit charge will apply
We do not accept any hazardous, toxic or liquid waste such as Asbestos, Paint, Oils, Cleaners or Chemicals.
Transfer Station Rates
Waste: $85.00/tonne with a $10.00 minimum charge.Clean Fill: $10.00/tonne with a $ 10.00 minimum charge.
Scrap metal disposal is free of charge including appliances, providing CFC's (Freon) has been removed and unit is tagged.
Appliances with CFC's (Freon) are subject to a $25.00 charge
Propane tanks: $5.00 each
E-waste disposal is free of charge

Saturday: 8:00 am - 12 Noon
